Sick of me yet?

·      dark rainy morning and a smooth cup of coffee - good for the soul
·     My new goal is to actually BE as cool as my son FEELS when he sings Boom-Boom-Pow
·     a mother's guilt and a son's nausea & confusion collide when leftover milk from last night's glass is found and gulped
·     I love my tech savvy job very much, but trying to complete one task when I have triple monitors makes it tough for a girl like me who can’t even put away laundry after I fold it.
·     "If you cannot find it in yourself, where will you go for it?" - Chinese proverb
·     Sometimes you just need a friend to point out the pile that you’ve been sweeping under your rug for years.
·     So glad I upgraded to the Go Go Gadget Mommy Face Shield for those "I don't feel good, up-close, bed-sharing, coughing, face-breathing" nights
·     I was going to complain that "if I had a nickel for every day my kids come home from school with a pound of sand in their shoes..." but then I did the math and it's only about $4.50 per kid - so never mind.
·     To realize how two people truly feel about each other is to watch them work together in backing up a hitch to a trailer.
·     R.I.P Laptop, you brought me great joy. I'm sorry about all those times I used you with greasy pizza fingers. Please remember all those hours I chose you over spending quality time with my kids
·     If I would’ve known that my “playing office” as a little girl was a self-fulfilling prophecy, I would’ve picked a different game. Something like: “rich guy’s wife” or “lotto winner”
·     A little stereotypical, but I’m pretty sure a NFL player would come on to a MUPPET if it were on the field or in the locker room during the highest testosterone season of their lives. 4 words: Shock therapy jock straps. :)
·     I'm not going to lie, some days I just gotta fake it
·     If my willpower could see my a** I think I'd be in a lot better shape
·     Every morning the first words out of my kids' mouths is a joke or a cheerful word and I couldn't be more proud. (I was raised on the 'ole credo=if you don't have something funny or upbeat to say, don't say anything at all!)
